  Chicken Parmesan: Life   The Early Years   Growing up in an Italian family has its perks. From a young age I was surrounded by a big family and even bigger parties. While the company was amazing, the best part about my childhood was the food.    Food runs my family. Whenever there was a celebration, half my family would be in the kitchen preparing something. Who knew it took 15 people to cook a pasta dish! From pasta bolognaise to fettucine alfredo, I’ve tried every dish there is. Amongst all these dishes, sits my absolute favorite— chicken parmesan! I’ve been a fan of the dish since my mother made it for me when I was young. It helped having an amazing mother who was also a fantastic cook. Magic Tricks and CEOs From the moment I saw Logan Roy's face on the cover of this book, I was hooked. Last semester I religiously watched the HBO series Succession starring Brian Cox as media tycoon Logan Roy. The show follows a company power transfer between a father and his children. The Logan Roy character proves to be quite despicable but still an incredible businessman. I was curious to see if Brian Cox was anything like the Logan Roy character and how much they differed. I find it interesting to see how actors and actresses compare to the roles they play.  So far, I have really enjoyed the book. It's always really exciting to read about someone overcoming hardship to become successful. I like the way the book is written because the author writes in a style that really brings the reader into the story. An Entrepreneur I always appreciate explaining my job to others, especially due to how fluid entrepreneurship is. Entrepreneurship constantly adapts to the surrounding environment through an endless learning process. The best entrepreneurs see the problems they encounter through the eyes of a student or apprentice.     Webster’s Dictionary defines an entrepreneur as  one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.  This definition brings in the second half of entrepreneurship: risk. Naturally, people tend to shy away from risk as they crave safety and security. Entrepreneurs lack this trait as they constantly seek new learning experiences. An entrepreneur works without fear, seeing failure not as failure but as a friend to learn from.   The entrepreneurial process begins with an idea and assumptions.  I am Michael, a kid from Rockville, Maryland. I come from a pretty large family. Because of this, I am a very family-oriented person. I am a senior and will be graduating in May.
