Blog Post 2 - Job Description (Entrepreneur)

An Entrepreneur I always appreciate explaining my job to others, especially due to how fluid entrepreneurship is. Entrepreneurship constantly adapts to the surrounding environment through an endless learning process. The best entrepreneurs see the problems they encounter through the eyes of a student or apprentice.     Webster’s Dictionary defines an entrepreneur as  one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.  This definition brings in the second half of entrepreneurship: risk. Naturally, people tend to shy away from risk as they crave safety and security. Entrepreneurs lack this trait as they constantly seek new learning experiences. An entrepreneur works without fear, seeing failure not as failure but as a friend to learn from.   The entrepreneurial process begins with an idea and assumptions. Blog Post 1

 I am Michael, a kid from Rockville, Maryland. I come from a pretty large family. Because of this, I am a very family-oriented person. I am a senior and will be graduating in May. I still have no idea where I'll be when I finish. I am hoping to launch my own business before the end of the semester. I plan to achieve this through persistent effort. I am like my parents in that I am incredibly loyal, while I am unlike them in that I am not as traditional as they are. I define my own expectations for myself and do not follow what others believe is the best path for me. I always follow my own path. I recently watched a documentary on Nims Purja a mountain climber. In the documentary, he inspires the viewer through his incredible achievements of bravery and courage. I feel a special connection with owls as I admire their ability to fly.
